BIO
Chantal Celine is an indie folk & pop artist from Gatineau, Québec with over 15 years of soulful songwriting under her belt. The half-Québecois singer-songwriter uses honest and endearing lyrics to create whimsical worlds where her songs exist.
Chantal has been producing and releasing her own music for over 4 years, turning each song into “a thread spun directly from her soul” (MusicArenagh, 2023). She captivates listeners with a production style that often fuses folk-y acoustic instrumentation with electronic textures and sounds.
Chantal’s live performances feature herself, her guitar and her feelings, and have been described as cozy, intimate, and an unexpected cure for a Friday-night hangover. She performs across the Outaouais region, with notable venues including Motel Chelsea, Live! On Elgin, and Art House Cafe. Chantal has played the NXT LVL Festival in Ottawa, and been broadcast live on CKCU’s Canadian Spaces.
Making music from a young age, Chantal earned second place in her first songwriting contest at 11 years old. She has since been using music as a way to untangle her thoughts and feelings, creating snapshots in time that listeners can step into. She is currently focusing on writing new material, and aims to release a single in 2026.
